to the Onkar Care Giver Training Institute's home page. This
site will be regularly updated with updates on program issues, accomplishments,
and breakthroughs.
We
are a Vocational Skills Training Centre, providing focused training
in the Live-In Caregiver
and Health Care field. We offer caregiver and elderly (geriatric)
care training. This six-month full time caregiver/nanny program
provides the graduate with the necessary skills and knowledge to
care for all age groups. It meets the requirements of the Canadian
Embassy under the Foreign Live In Caregiver program (FLCP).
The Live In Caregiver course is six months in duration: 675 hours
of theory and in school practical. This course is offered full time.
A Canadian diploma is provided after the successful completion of
this course.
